  • Learn that contrary to adults, amblyopia is frequently an indication for refractive surgery. 
  • Recognize that children with neurobehavioral disorders undergoing refractive surgery have improvements in visual acuity, communication, socialization, motor skills, adaptive behaviors, visual perception, and cognitive function.
